JOB
I must admit, I have not really had time to celebrate, because we have been so busy with the magazine. From 10 April, it has been non-stop busy. I have stayed up till 10 and 11 at night, designing and working on the May issue. My co-workers have been brilliant in helping with all the work and we finally went to print on Wednesday and on Thursday at 12:00 the magazine was being printed.

I must admit that the public holidays aren’t helping much, NOT that I am complaining. There have been some good times spent in between with the family.

With the promotion, I have to move to the corner office (isn’t there a book with the same title or something?). Oh and I am getting business cards. I have to sign the proofs on Tuesday.

My editor is going on maternity leave soon (she is having a little boy in June), and well, I can think that it is just going to get more hectic, especially because we only have two days next week, Tuesday and Wednesday, because our offices are closed on Friday. Then we have four days the week after, and well, then a few more days before we go to print for the June issue.

This is going to be a wild ride… Wish me luck. 😉

    • Hey Harmz, well so far it has… been doing two jobs in one, but *touch wood* it will get better. 🙂 Lots of new things to learn and hey, nothing that cannot be written and queued… if you know what I mean. 🙂

      • Yeah, I’m sure it’ll take a while to adjust to the new duties and get a routine going … but it’s nothing our Kat can’t handle!

Hehehe … yeah, I know what you mean *wink wink*
