So… yes, I have decided to make time to blog… a person needs a break from the real world at time and there is no better place than the virtual world, where all my friends are. 😉
I have my earphone in my ears and I am listening to Lorde (the chick who sings Royals and Team). Strange, because I wasn’t a fan in the beginning, although I am chick and allowed to change my mind, right?
Okay, so this post is about something that irritated me in the traffic this morning.
*Rant starts here*
We are all on our way to work and stuck in bumper to bumper traffic to get out of a certain suburb there are uphills and downhills and Putco busses. I don’t really mind that part of my journey, but this morning, the chick in the car ahead of me, was putting her makeup on in the car. Now, you know on the highway (when I used to travel to Sandton everyday) I didn’t mind when women did that. It never bugged me. Some people used to read. I used to sing. I think I never minded because there were no traffic lights to turn green, everyone was on one road going in one direction.
HOWEVER, this morning, in the suburb, it irritated the hell out of me. The light went green and madam was putting eyeliner on her eye and didn’t pull away because she didn’t realise the light went green. Now, I am all one for looking good, but seriously? Anyways, so we get to the next traffic light and madam starts fixing her hair. At the next one, she was on the cell phone chatting. WTF?
I swear in a period of three to four blocks, I don’t think she focused on the road. She was looking at herself in the mirror, chatting on the phone or touching her hair. It made me mad, because here I am behind her and all I want her to do is drive so that I can get to the double lane to just get past her. I know that some mornings are more hectic than others, but please ladies, just remember that there are other drivers on the road… who don’t all put makeup on in the car and all we want to do is get to work on time.
*Rant over*

I blow a fuse when I see women putting their make-up on in the car. I have never, and will never do that. What next? Plucking your eyebrows and putting on roll-on! For me it’s not even about the lack of concentration on the road – it’s a issue of conducting activities that should be done in the privacy of one’s home.
I know right? I am so glad that I am not the only one who feels like this my friend. *sigh*
I had a douche on the highway today that obviously didn’t check his blind spot when he was changing lanes and I had to change lanes to dodge him. Then he still went and showed me the finger as if I did something wrong!
I had one like that on Thursday night on the way home.. except my douche was on the mobile. *sigh*
