Tuesday Tune: Happy Birthday

So, I couldn’t resist doing a Tuesday Tune Birthday post for myself, especially because it is a big birthday. πŸ˜‰

Happy Birthday to You

Happy Birthday to You
Happy Birthday to You
Happy Birthday to Kathleen
Happy Birthday to You.

From good friends and true,
From old friends and new,
May good luck go with you,
And happiness too.

  1. Happy 1st 30th my dear friend! Wishing you the very best for this 30th and all the 30th birthdays to come! πŸ™‚

May you always find blue skies above your head,
    Shamrocks beneath your feet,
    Laughter and joy aplenty,
    Kindness from all you meet,
Good friends and kin to miss you
if ever you choose to roam,
And a path that’s been cleared by the angels themselves
    To carry you safely home.

    • Awww, thanks so much Harmz, I am so looking forward to my 30s. πŸ™‚

I love the verse you put up. Mind if I steal it for the party on Saturday?

      • It’s an Irish blessing so it’s already yours πŸ˜‰

I hope you’re having a fabulous day and I can’t wait to celebrate with you on Saturday!

      • Awww, thanks my friend. I can’t wait to you see you and Spikey on Saturday.

My day has been great. I have been really spoiled by my colleagues today… some of them you’ll meet on Saturday too. My brother’s have called and made me feel very special, not to mention my Mom, she made me cry early this morning with a letter she wrote to me. It has been very overwhelming day. πŸ™‚

      • Unfortunately it will only be me, as Madam is also going to a party on Saturday. I’ll just have twice as much fun to make up for it!

I’m so glad you’re having a great day – turning 30 is such an auspicious occasion! Enjoy the rest of it my friend!

  2. Many Happy Returns! Happy Birthday! Congratulations on your Birthday!
*gives a violin solo of ‘Happy Birthday’*
Hang on, though. Wasn’t the time between your twenty-ninth and thirtieth supposed to be the best ten years of your life? Then, at forty, life begins, so that’s OK. πŸ™‚
